The best thing to do when you’re cutting down is to set yourself a personal target and be totally realistic with your aims. Cutting down should be a gradual process and just having a couple less drinks a week will be an achievement for some. Try our handy desktop diary, you can keep track of your daily units online and nobody else will know. You can track your progress and make some comments about how you feel too. If you need a quick tot up of your units we’ve made an easy-to-use calculator with a list of common drinks containing alcohol. Good luck and remember to take it easy, the last thing we want you to do is to have no fun at all - just fun in moderation!
